When we planned a beach extended family session we didn't expect fog to roll in just as we started the session. BUT I love how the fog softened the background. The Menges family organized this session to document their family, at a place they love before Mike, Stephanie and the boys move to Arizona. We all enjoyed having Stephanie as a teacher in the community and I will miss taking photos of the boys... maybe this means I should travel to AZ during Winter for their session. ;)

Spring family photos at home aka …my home… and my NEW studio!

Last week Nico and Cecilia stopped by the studio to try out the new SPRING background! I'm loving these florals from In the Moment Restoration and the wreath made by my friend Dayna owner of The Flower Gallery in Manitowoc. I'm offering Mini sessions during April each session is 15 mins long, for up to 5 people. You will receive an online gallery of 15-20 photos to download and print online.

My cousin Sam had her FOURTH and final girl ! Today was suppose to be Eleanor's birthday, but the doctor decided Monday Eleanor needed to be delivered early. When I arrived to the hospital, thinking that I was going to take photos after the c-section. That changed and I was allowed in the operating room!! GAHHH!!! You guys... I love to photograph birth's. I personally think these photos are more important then newborn sessions. BUT...I'm also not a newborn photographer. I love that I can provide mom and dad photos, so dad can focus on being there for mom. 

Eleanor was born on her Great-Grandma Helen's birthday. She was at least 1 lb bigger then all of her sisters. I stayed after the birth to watch Eleanor's 3 big sisters see her for the first time. They were all so excited to see baby! 

This beautiful family traveled from Milwaukee to my studio near Green Bay. Harvey and Caroline were so not in the mood photos BUT we had fun! I forgot how much energy little kids have LOL... definitely got a workout that day! I can't wait to chase them around outside this Summer. 

I knew one of the first studio sessions I photographed had to be a Christmas pajama session with the Wilke family and these Burt's Bees pj's were PERFECT for what I was going for with this session! 

After a year of planning and talking to my husband about what my goals for 2018 would be..I decided I wanted to try something new! I wanted to book less weddings keeping it around 18 a year AND find a studio/office space. To be honest for the last 6 years I have worked on a laptop from the couch, kitchen table, coffee shop, car, airport but most of the time my bed. My equipment has taken over my house AND I need a designed office space. I have struggled with work/family hours. Also with the Wisconsin winters that typically last from Nov 1st to April..some years even May. I need a place where I can still take photos, with amazing lighting and details during Winter. 

This family is soooo freaking adorable!  Little Rose is the cutest 4 year old I have ever seen! AND I've had 3 of my 4 year olds. She told me how to pose her and her sister, she told me all about their outfits AND she's planning to do my makeup at their next session. BUT I have to bring my own brushes LOL seriously loved this mini session!

I don't think that Josie can get any cuter!! Those bright blue eyes and cubby cheeks have my heart!! I really only offered to take a photo of Jessica and Kenny alone so I could cuddle Josie a couple minutes ;)

During Fall I traveled to Milwaukee to photograph Elizabeth and her family. BUT yesterday they traveled to the Green Bay area for a quick mini session at a local tree farm! I love this family! Who would have thought...The weather was actually nicer yesterday then it was in September!

O-M-G !! This family was so fun to photograph! The girls are so well behaved! Mom and Dad are so happy! You see the love they have for their little ladies in every photo! 

Baby Emmett turned 6 months old!!! We celebrated this fall milestone with a family session at the pumpkin patch. 

The only way to keep this little guy happy was moving! And showing him videos of my dog Stella. I loved meeting this Green Bay family! 

I meet Elizabeth and her husband a few years ago at a wedding show in Door County, we quickly became friends. Elizabeth is one of the sweetest lady's I know. She's also photographer in Milwaukee and Chicago. Plus mother of three children like myself. I have to say her little ladies are busy! Full of energy and life! They definitely kept me moving at their family session. Here's a few of my favorites. 

In July I photographed baby Brody, he was only 6 hours old! Heather looked amazing, like always and Kevin was so excited to be a daddy. Fast forward 4 weeks when I photographed Brody's newborn session... it's amazing how fast they grow and change in only one month. 

Brody was born at Aurora Hospital in Two Rivers weighing 8lbs 3 oz. He had the biggest hands I've photographed for a newborn. Perfect for football and wrestling ;)

If you know Katie and Mike you know that they love to have fun! They love to be goofy! They love their dog, cat and lake life. It was really important to Katie that they have a few pics taken on the lake, where they send most of their free time. So we started with Katie, Mike and Champ. Then met Taiden in Omaha for a few family photos at the OPPD Arboretum.
